I was born on the 5th of July. It’s an unremarkable date.
I was not born a racist. I was not born a misogynist. I was not born a homophobe.
A bear waddled through our yard just after midnight last Sunday night. And that just doesn’t happen every day.
This past Sunday I stood with 500 people under a bright sun at the rally for Social Justice in Charles Town.
On Monday, June 1, 2020, at 7:10 p.m. Eastern Time, the president of the United States of America held up a Bible.
I have two grandsons. They live in Boonsboro. Far enough not to see (or hear) them everyday.
And beware of quacks!!
No wish, no dream, no messiah will save us.
Much to my surprise, I was there.
